My Client, a growing Biotechnology company in London is currently seeking a HR Officer to help support their growing and established HR team.

HR Operations Support

The HR Operations Support role will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of HR administration activities, HR system superuser support and first point of contact for HR query resolution. The successful candidate will be joining a small, fast-paced, collaborative and respected HR team that has made significant progress in building a strategic, in-house people function within the organisation.


  • Responsible for all aspects of HR administration, including but not limited to, onboarding documentation (right to work checks, offer letters and employment contracts), probation review letters, changes in terms and conditions of employment, administration of employee awards.
  • HRIS (HiBob); act as the system superuser, managing data integrity in the platform and enhancing automation of processes and reporting
  • Support employees and managers with day-to-day queries, escalating as appropriate to other HR team members
  • Basic payroll administration (data entry, running reports and data checking) and engaging with external service providers – e.g. ADP (payroll) and benefits providers etc.
  • Manage the monthly employee induction process and deliver the HR section
  • Support the team with annual HR activities such as annual pay review and bonus
  • Support the people team in fostering a positive workplace culture

Technical & Educational Requirements

  • Extensive/consolidated experience in a similar role within an HR function
  • Industry experience within Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences / Biotech is desirable but not essential
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A team player who knows when to ask for help and offers support to others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change with a personal growth mindset
