Northreach have partnered with a leading biotech client that are pioneering the development of regenerative medicines.

The Role: IT Security Audit Manager

Part time basis (preferably afternoons to work within transatlantic time zones) 2-3 days per week. Will consider remote working with some ad-hoc travel to our office in the UK.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing IT and data security, risk and compliance, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage audit processes and reporting. Advise on cyber security and data processes to achieve and go beyond compliance with Company policies, managing key relationships with internal stakeholders on the leadership team and external authorities.

Requirements:

  • In-depth understanding and practical application of UK/EU privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR compliance requirements.
  • Extensive background in cybersecurity, coupled with robust IT and cyber auditing proficiency.
  • Previous involvement in Audit or Assurance-focused environments, adept at overseeing internal controls effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability in strategizing, leading, and executing intricate IT, Cyber, and Operational Resilience audits, tests, and assessments.
