Job Description

We are looking for someone to join a company specializing in the development of engineered T-regulatory (Treg) cell therapies for serious medical conditions driven by the immune system.

The Role:

As a Production Scientist II, you will play a pivotal role in the development and manufacturing of novel products originating from Process Development. Working collaboratively within a team, you will operate within a GMP environment, ensuring adherence to SOPs, maintaining and utilizing a Quality Management System (QMS) to document findings, and contributing to a clean and sterile laboratory environment. Additionally, you will engage in cross-functional collaboration with other teams within CMC to foster positive working relationships across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute batch manufacturing within a GMP setting, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Provide support for the scale-up of manufacturing operations in accordance with GMP standards.
  • Draft and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
  • Record all activities and deviations within the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Identify and implement new working practices to enhance process efficiency and standardization.
  • Contribute to team efforts in identifying and mitigating process risks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sterility within the working environment.
  • Support and mentor junior staff members.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Holds a BSc or MSc degree in Biological Science, Biotechnology, or a related field, with demonstrated proficiency.
  • Possesses experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in multi-parameter Flow Cytometry with a comprehensive understanding.
  • Capable of effective teamwork as well as independent work.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficient record-keeping skills.
